The space
Located in the heart of Marseille, this flat can accommodate up to 4 people. Close to shops and transports, this flat is perfect in order to visit Marseille and enjoy the sea breeze.
The penthouse located on the 4rd floor (with an elevator) consists of a living space of 80sq. m and includes :
-a designed living-room
-a well-equipped kitchen (kettle, coffee machine, toaster, oven, microwave, hotplates, fridge)
-one bedroom with a double bed on a mezzanine above the living room
-one bedroom with two single beds
-a bathroom with a shower

The accommodation doesn't include a private parking place but you can park in a public parking ( Parking Vieux Port)

The neighborhood
It has a very good situation, in the center of the 1st arrondissement, to discover the city on foot. Ideal for visiting the Vieux Port, visiting the museums (Mucem, the Marseille museum, the Cantini museum ...), markets and beautiful squares with Mediterranean colors. Looking for bars and restaurants? The accommodation is close to everything! Walks and discovery of this magical and secret city can be done on foot but it is possible to use the bus.

Hormis cela, nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter 😊.

THE HOST! Adrien did not meet up to check us in and we were lucky that the main office was able to walk us thru finding the key box and get in. Although, even the office had bad information on their records. Adrien NEVER followed up with us and NEVER responded to our text messages. He did not even show up for our checkout and did not respond to our message confirming that we had checked out. Terrible customer service on his part! I ended up messaging the main office and letting them know about our checkout.

L’appartement mériterait un bon nettoyage au niveau de la douche car les joints sont moisis. Il n’y a pas beaucoup de pression pour se doucher. Il faudrait rajouter un auvent à la terrasse car nous n’avons pas pu manger dehors à cause des déjections des mouettes... c’est dommage !
Un garde corps serait aussi bienvenu sur la mezzanine un peu dangereuse pour les enfants.
L’appartement est par contre très très bien situé et il est très bien décoré.

cela serait parfait si ma communication avec l'agence Welkeys n'était pas catastrophique. panne de chaudière : aucune intervention, nous avons joué les chauffagistes !

It’s nice weather in february in Marseille. But you still need heating system.
Finally we were being shown by the manager how the boiler works so we knew how to help ourselves. Other than that the flat was dusty, which was disappointing since we paid a cleaning service. I communicated that right in the beginning. The tv didn’t work.
The management rewarded us with a small amount of money. But it didn’t even cover one night. The problem was existing for five days. We spend 10 days in the apartment. So I think a more proper compensation would have been nice. Especially because we paid a lot for this Airbnb.
Besides that the location and the style of the apartment was just amazing. We could walk everywhere and explore Marseille by foot. When we needed a break the apartment was not far for a short rest. Marseille is expensive so we cooked our own meals in the open kitchen which was great. Beautiful open apartment.

the only annoyance was the (non-) communication with welkeys "wishbox" that showed no inforamtion; the chat option was irrelevant, because i only got a reply after 3 days.
