Located in the heart of Marseille, this modern and cozy apartment is ideal for 4 people.
The space
We have designed this apartment like our own home in Marseille, always favouring comfort, quality and attention to detail for our guests. Our aim is for you to appreciate the heart of the city just as much as we do. You can start your discovery of Marseille with the Passage de Lorette right down the building. Then why not go and have a drink at the Old Port (5min walking distance) ? Or visit the mythical Panier district (2min), the picturesque old town of Marseille ? Or take a stroll around the modern shopping centres « Les Terrasses du Port » and « Docks Village » (7min walking distance) ?
In terms of decoration, we wanted to respect the « Hausmanian » character of the building by favouring elegance, personality and charm, therefore creating a refined and cosy place in the heart of a vibrant city.
This modern and cozy flat is situated on the first floor (no lift) and consists of a living space of 49 sq. m. It includes :
- a bright living-room with a sofa-bed (140cm x 200cm),
- a bedroom with double bed (160cm x 200cm),
- an open, well-equipped kitchen. Amenities includes a kettle, toaster, oven, microwave, hob, fridge,
- a bathroom with bathtub,
- a vacuum cleaner, household products, a hairdryer, a washing machine, ironing equipment, fans,
- WiFi.

→ A high quality cleaning will be organized before your arrival and after your departure
→ We also provide bed linens, towels, soap, shampoo
Please note that work is being carried out in the courtyard of the building until the end of September 2023, which may cause some noise.
The neighborhood
The district is really ideal to discover all that Marseille has to give you : the picturesque and trendy Panier, the emblematic and sunny Old Port, the newly rehabilitated Docks but also the Saint Charles train station, Mucem or Major Cathedral are just a few steps away from the flat. Moreover, the tramway and metro just nearby will allow you to go all around the city and even further.
Plenty of good adresses will delight you without going out of the district : Babel Community, La Kahena, Au Coeur du Panier, Ahwash, Emilie’s and the cool kids, the ice-cream maker Vanille Noire, the White Rabbit… For museums, don’t miss the Mucem, but also la Major, le Centre de la Vieille Charité, the Mediterranean archeology museum, le Préau des Acoules…

The tramway station Sadi Carnot is 1 min away by foot from the building and the metro station Colbert - Hôtel de la Région is 6 min away.

Niestety, mimo tygodniowego pobytu, po zgłoszeniu problemu nikt się nie pojawił, aby naprawić płytę grzewczą, która powodowała spięcie elektryczne.

Unica pecca era che alla sera la zona si animava di persone poco raccomandabili e abbiamo avuto la sfortuna che il portone d’ingresso fosse rotto e per cui invitante per chi cercava un posto caldo per “riposare”. Siamo stati fortunati che non è successo nulla ma ci saremmo sentiti più sicuri se l’agenzia che si occupa della casa si prendesse in carica il problema invece, forse per il capodanno di mezzo, nessuno ci ha riposto. Nel complesso comunque buon appartamento, ci tornerei.

Anweisungen für Check in einfach.
Keine Klimaanlage vorhanden. Aber war mit Ventilatoren noch erträglich.
Die Anweisugnen für das Check out, wie zum Beispiel Müll entfernen waren nicht im Voraus kommuniziert worden. Zudem war nicht klar wo man den Müll entsorgen soll.

Logement spacieux et fonctionnel.
Convient pour couple ou famille.
Pas d'informations transmises pour l'entrée dans les lieux, obligée de rappeler plusieurs fois Booking pour précisions (codes accès, clés...) jusqu'à la dernière minute.
Ménage sommaire et mobilier relativement dégradé et taché.
Chaleur étouffante en début d'été, uniquement des ventilateurs. Des rideaux pour un peu d'intimité ne seraient pas de trop.

La pulizia dell'appartamento era dignitosa ma non eccellente. Non mi ha fatto impazzire la formula di check-in online, piuttosto complicata. IMPORTANTE: Trattengono 500€ dalla carta come cauzione - ho trovato un po' sgradevole non fosse menzionato in nessun punto dell'annuncio.
Per me è stato poco importante, stando in casa davvero poco, ma l'appartamento non è luminoso come sembra (le foto sono senza dubbio state scattate con le luci accese e poi modificate). Può essere un po' rumoroso, specie alla sera: se si è delicati sotto questo punto di vista, forse potrebbe essere fastidioso

Loud music from the gallery downstairs all day. Noise from the alley way at night. Lack of cooking utensils. Stained mattresses.
On our return, we have been told that we damaged a duvet and would be charged 54 euros. We have asked for evidence of this, which they have not given me. They have not responded to my emails and have taken the 54 euros off my credit card. When we leave from all our stays, we always leave things tidy, and to help the cleaners, we strip the bed of all linen and pile together. It's a small thing, but im sure it helps. When we did this, we noticed that the duvets on both the bed and the sofa bed were not in the best of condition. Disappointing really.

pas de climatisation, il fait très chaud dans l’appartement malgré les 3 ventilateurs.
beaucoup de vis à vis pas la possibilité d’ouvrir les fenêtres et aéré.
des travaux juste en dessous beaucoup bruyant
le matelas du lit+des coussins du canapé lit et le canapé ne sont pas propres des aréoles bien visibles pourtant.
les oreillers ne sont pas confortable du tout

Airbnb est pourtant initialement un moyen de dormir chez l’habitant, et donc d’être au moins accueilli avec un contact humain.
L’accès à l’appartement s’est avéré très compliqué : les clés cachés dans une boîte à clés dans la rue (positionnée dans un endroit insalubre avec les odeurs d’excréments) n’étaient pas présentes à notre arrivée.
Nous avons du patienter 20 minutes avant de comprendre que la femme de ménage était encore dans l’appartement avec les clés.
L’annonce est mensongère : les photos sont beaucoup plus vendeuses, pleines de lumière alors que l’appartement est extrêmement sombre.
Dernière chose,
Dans l’immeuble était affichée un écrito indiquant la présence de cafards et de puces de lit dans l’immeuble, pas très rassurant…

Nombreux petits problèmes durant le séjour : machine à lavee, four, plaques, micro ondes non fonctionnels. Après intervention d’un technicien cela fonctionnait.
Par contre, internet et la télévision non fonctionnels durant l’intégralité du séjour. L’équipe en charge de l’appartement en était parfaitement informé mais a pris le soin de nous le mentionner que la veille de notre arrivée.
Après 5 appels, 4 messages, j’attends toujours un dédommagement… Le professionnalisme et le bien être des occupants n’est pas réellement leur priorité…

À première vue, les parties communes de l'immeuble semblent vétustes mais lorsqu'on pousse la porte d'entrée la surprise est là ! Jolie appartement, très bien situé à 5 min à pied du vieux port, à 2min du métro et au pied des commerces de proximité.
Très propre, et literie très confortable, que ce soit le lit ou le canapé lit.
Logement très bien équipé, seul bémol une télévision sans câble de branchement, donc hors d'état de marche. Pas d'intervention du gestionnaire de l'appartement, malgré les messages et surtout pas d'excuses...heureusement que Marseille regorge de 1000 et une choses a découvrir, ça permet de ne pas voir le temps passer.
On reviendra c'est sûr, cet appartement fait partie des bonnes adresses à avoir.

The property is very well decorated and I especially liked that there was a washing machine in the property.
Marseille's security is really bad, so it is recommended that you choose an accommodation in a good location. Marseille's day was blessed by nature, but Marseille's night seemed cursed by drug criminals. Foreigners, especially Asians, beware. My group was also pickpocketed twice in a short span of time.

Nous nous sommes demandé si le ménage avait été fait…
Poignée de la salle de bain cassée (comment la femme de ménage a t’elle pu y accéder, cela explique les cheveux au sol) nous avons pu ouvrir avec un couteau .
Un message pour expliquer ce problème , pas de retour…
Manque de linge de lit (pas de taie d’oreiller)
Mauvaise odeur du canapé …
Pas d’éponges, de papier toilette…
Pourtant l’appartement a tout pour être parfait…

Heel slechte service van Welkeys!!
WIFI werkte niet, dus geen internet en TV. Wat voor ons een reden was om te annuleren, omdat we ook wat wilden werken en studeren. Maar men overtuigde ons te blijven door te beloven dat er een oplossing zou komen, maar die kwam nooit. Toen we de lokale contactpersoon vroegen om een oplossing nam hij de telefoon niet meer op. Schandalig amateuristisch!!
Je hebt ook een heel slechte GSM ontvangst, waardoor je eigen hotspot niet werkt.
Het appartement ziet er goed uit op de foto's, maar is aan de achterkant van het gebouw en kijkt uit op de achterkant van een ander appartementsgebouw. Je hebt dus nooit rechtsreeks zonlicht, het is er donker en je moet constant het licht aan.
Er was een slaapbank maar geen extra hoeslaken en bedovertrek.
Er waren slechts twee medium-size handdoeken, voor een verblijf van 5 dagen.
Er was ook geen extra toilet papier (zoals in hun omschrijving staat).
Na de reservatie bij booking.com diende ik een extra administratieve kost rechtsreeks aan hen te betalen. M.a.w. Welkeys rekent extra kosten aan, bovenop wat je betaalt bij booking.com.
Welkeys is een grote congiërie, die heel wat panden beheert. Je bent een nummer voor hen, er komen een heleboel gestandaardiseerde onnodige mails die je het gevoel moeten geven dat ze hard werken voor jou. Maar als het fout loopt, dan geeft niemand thuis.
Ik vermoed dat Welkeys ook de gegevens van haar klanten doorverkoopt, want sinds ik een boeking deed bij hen, krijg ik spam mail van Franse bedrijven in mijn mailbox.

Unfortunately no warderobe at all, not 1 single hanger for clothes! The cupboard in the bedroom is full of other things and smells bad inside. So not suitable for clothes...
Appartement is a little dark due to 1st floor and backside of the building.
