The space
Located at the heart of Megève, a few minutes away from the ski runs, this comfortable and cozy apartment can accommodate up to 4 people. Close to all amenities, this bright flat is perfect for a stay in the mountains, both in winter and summer.
This nice flat, designed by an architect, is on the 2nd floor (without elevator), consists of a living space of 40 sq. m and includes :
- a charming living room,
- a sunny balcony,
- a bedroom with a double bed,
- a bedroom with two bunk simple beds,
- a fully-equipped open kitchen (kettle, coffee machine, toaster, oven, micro-wave, hot plates, fridge, dish-washer),

- free access to the public parking located five minutes away on foot, in front of the Palais des sports.

The neighborhood
Located at the heart of the nice Megève village, you will be at the best place to enjoy the huge ski domain. All shops, including ski and equipment rental shops, will be just nearby the flat, as well as numerous bars and restaurants. Among the numerous good addresses of the neighborhood, we recommend you Ok Burger, the grocery store Epicure for delicious and gourmet glass jar dishes, and Hibou Blanc bar-restaurant. Chamois ski-lifts are only 5 min away on foot, but you will also be able to move around easily and join the other cable cars thanks to the free bus service. At last, in the summertime, you will also find a lot of activities around the city : shopping, hiking, mountain biking…

Check in was fairly easy but a bit confusing as there was no welcome package or instructions for things such as wifi, trash, etc. We were supposed to be in touch with the management company, which we did, but for the parking we got no clear answer. So we were given another contact. None of the contacts were able to tell us where the parking space was. At some point that day they stopped answering until the following day. First we were told that the parking space was right in front of of the building, and the following day we were told the parking was a few blocks away and we could access with a parking card that was left in the apartment. When we tried using it, it turned out it was expired.
For the wifi, when we sent a message, we were told there was no wifi, and later got another message saying how to.

L'appartement est très bien mais contient le minimum : pas de torchon pour nettoyer la table, ni de petit couteau coupant (un couteau à steak pour couper des carottes, ce n'est pas top). La chambre principale : tellement petite qu'il n'y a pas de table de chevet et l'armoire contient des tablettes tellement hautes que ce n'est pas pratique.
Il est extrêmement bien situé dans une rue calme. Marché le vendredi matin. La carte pour la parking est un gros plus.

nice balcony for enjoying the view.
Service with the host via Whatsapp is good, very friendly, quick replies and all info is correct and clear.
Also a free parking ticket (parking -5-10 minute walking from the appartment) is provided.
the beds are very comfortable, but a bit small.

Attention en mai (week-end) de l'Ascension, beaucoup de boutiques et restaurants sont fermés à Megève, ce qui explique un prix à la nuit peu excessif pour la situation de l'appartement.

The good:
Good location. Central to Megeve centre-ville. Good view of the slope. And good wifi.
The bad:
First - very disorganized. They don’t even tell you which unit it is in the check-in instruction. We had to wait for someone (“a concierge”) to send a video 30 minutes before checking time to reveal that. Very stressful.
Second- very cheap and inconsiderate. They only provide toilet paper for the 1st night. After repeated messaging, they said you have to bring your own toilet paper. Never happened in any other Airbnb. Toilet paper costs not much. And they didn’t even say that in instruction or anywhere.
Third - very confusing messaging. They said they wanted a local concierge to greet you. When I already filled in the check in form to say we are arriving at 3pm, the concierge said he couldn’t meet until 6pm. It’s ok not to meet. But pretending wanting to meet you and wasting time to send confusing messages? In the checkout process, they also surprisingly told you only 1 day before that we had to take the garbage out. No instruction where to throw the trash. We had to text the concierge and waited anxiously for hours to get a response.
