Close to Les Halles d’Avignon, theaters, restaurants and all other amenities, this accommodation will be ideal for a visit of Avignon and its surroundings during the summer.
Situated in the heart of the city, on the 2nd floor of a typical building of the historic center (no elevator), this two-bedroom apartment of 60 sq. m entirely bathed in light includes:
- a comfortable and sunny living space,
- a luminous bedroom with queen-size bed (160 cm),
- a peaceful bedroom with double bed,
- 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower each,
- a fully equipped open-plan kitchen (Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, hotplates),

Apartment had reverse air conditioning so nice and warm. You have Carrefour downstairs if you’ve forgotten any provisions.
Nothing….ok could do with a little touch up for old property but fine. If you are a light sleeper to keep this place clean they start early in the square…

The property was beautiful with a gorgeous view over the square. Very close to parking at Les Halles. Nearby are restaurants and a supermarket.
When the weather is fine the diners do stay up late so can be a bit noisy.
There is so much to see and do in the area. We loved our time in Avignon.

Buenos y correctos:
-centro de la ciudad, fácil de pasear muchos puntos de visita y las compras.
-Supermercado Carrefour city justo de bajo del piso.
- es bastante tranquilo siendo centro de la ciudad.
- el piso con 2 habitaciones están con buen espacio y decoración moderna y limpia.
Inconvenientes:
- no hubo indicación sobre parking y demos muchas vueltas
- No habla en inglés , pero intentamos comunicarnos y contesta rápido — hay que comunicarse por varias personas.
- juegos de sábanas fueron más pequeñas que edredones, hay que poner nosotros, imagínate después de un viaje largo para llegar un lugar sólo quería descansar…
- bastante escaleras para llegar piso 2, realmente es piso 3. Si hay muchas maletas o personas con problemas de rodillas, o niños pequeños, un poco complicado.
- hay mosquitos grandes en esta época..
en general, está muy bien para una familia en corto viaje. Limpio y cómodo.

We loved everything about the place although the 2 flights of stairs was hard on me (68). The view outside was wonderful looking toward the 13th century tower. Having the Carrfours right down stairs was very convenient. The beds were really comfortable and the space, neat and clean and well lighted. Francois came to help us once when we had a problem and was really quick to figure stuff out. We loved the location and how easy it was to get around. Highly recommend.

He had a nice stay in Avignon. The apartment is close to everything and right on a beautiful square (which has plusses and minuses.)

Very comfortable and quiet, despite being on a busy Square (Place). The the main bedroom, living room and kitchen have a great view and the second bedroom is nice and bright from a ceiling window. It was great to have 2 bathrooms. It was on the 2nd floor without lift, but it was no problem. We would definitely stay there again.

A good place to stay in a lovely part of Avignon. The Accomodation was nicely located to restaurants and the main city centre. The wellkeys team which manages the accomodation were generally responsive but were reluctant to provide advice on best parking nearby (which I thought they could have done). Fortunately, we were able to find a good car park at the Halles market a couple of minutes walk away. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Jean Marc place was very comfortable and easy to access all the great places in Avignon
It was tidy and clean
We throughly enjoyed our time.
Restaurants were all around and Les Halles was an easy few steps walk.
Would recommend getting your train to Avignon Central as it was a short walk - less than 10 minutes to the apartment

It’s a very nice apartment with everything you need for a few days stay. Location is convenient. Walk distance to everywhere in this old town.
The noise from the town square are very loud especially at night - pls be aware that during very early hour in the morning like 4 or 5am they have either the rubbish collector trucks or delivery trucks come for the downstairs carrefour supermarket and they got very very loud. I got woken up by those noise every day if you sleep in the master bedroom. 😅. I wasn’t a light sleeper but I woken up every day during the hour for about 10 mins and I got back to sleep. So be careful of that.
Also there are some delivery persons or drunk homeless would gether around downstairs. - I wouldn’t recommend if you are girls staying here on yourselves.

Check in procedures are in need of total révision! Being able to get in to the property was a disaster. While repeatedly providing arrival time information to the management co., the on-site person didn’t seem to know them. She didn’t speak or read english which is OK but there needs to be a way to communicate with the client. Calls to let her know we had arrived were responded to by, “I don’t speak english”. Further texts were by “what’s app”. By chance I had installed it on my phone otherwise there would have been no communication between us. Also the client should be made aware that cabs can only access the address during certain hours because of street barriers. Because of that we had to carry our luggage a considerable distance to reach the rental. Because of the failed communications we are not sure anyone was going to meet us. After waiting about 20 minutes someone finally showed up. Some other downsides to the property were: Every early evening gangs of men would sit near the entrance sometimes blocking the entrance to the property. And I am not
referring to the Uber Eats people who were picking up groceries; water to the washing machine was turned off and it was out the entrance door and up some stairs, it was another hassle to get it fixed and the TV didn’t
work. On the positive side the place was clean, the furnishings good and the location excellent.

The apartment is very nice - two good size bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and very well equipped and comfortable. It is in a excellent location for seeing the best Avignon has to offer.
However, communication with the manager left a bit to be desired. We paid our deposit, then the final payment, and the app showed we had paid nothing, right up until we actually checked-in. I had to ask that they had received the payments, and was reassured, but there was nothing on the Stayz site to show it.
Check-in arrangements were made, and a 'concierge' arranged to let us in and show us around. On arrival, at the mutually-agreed time, there was nobody there. I phoned her, then her backup, and neither answered their phones - each one was phoned twice. I had to phone the head office to get an answer.
The 'concierge' arrived 15 minutes later, without a care in the world, as if nothing had happened! She was very half-hearted about the whole thing, as if it bored her.
I would recommend this property, but only if they improve their arrival arrangements.

Jean-Marc’s appartment is in the Centre of the town and covered parking is just across the square. Great spot for discover Avignon and everything is in the walking distance. The appartment is really cute and feels great to come back after a long day outside😊 Happened to be there on the day of Fete de la music and it was a great experience for me and my family! Superb apartment in the centre of Avignon. Local indoor market was was great with unique selection of fresh foods.
We also enjoyed the Saturday street market as well.

Appartement was in good shape and very clean. Everything as described. If you plan to go there by car, please keep in mind, that Avignon tries to keep cars outside the inner city. You will not be able to drive directly in front of the door and the next parking at the market is a bit difficult to find because of blocked streets. But this is a problem only for car drivers.

We loved our stay here in Avignon. The location is amazing and the apartment was perfect for four people. Everything in the apartment was just as described in the listing. There is parking close by in the Les Halles garage if you are traveling by car.

The apartment was a very good set up for us as a family of adults. The kitchen was well appointed as were the other rooms. It worked well for us as we are all able to handle stairs and to walk to the many wonders of the old city. If someone wanted to be closer to the Palais de Papes or many of the restaurants they may need to consider something a bit closer in the city walls. The Halles market is very close with its incredible choice of food. We definitely benefited from being close by. We were well looked after during our stay and are greatly appreciative.

Apartment was as advertised. Well appointed, clean and roomy. Great location near many restaurants, a grocery store and the Les Halls food market. The only issue I had, is that there is a bar directly opposite and there was a few nights it got pretty loud, late into the night. Other than that, it was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was centrally located, within a short walking distance of the major sights, restaurants and shopping, and very close to a parking garage, if you're driving. The apartment was roomy, tastefully and recently renovated and well equipped with everything one is likely to need. It was also spotless. You should be prepared to walk two flights of stairs, as there is no elevator, but the stairs are low and easy to climb. I highly recommend this apartment. My only advice is to be sure to specify and agree on a check-in time well in advance of arrival, so you are not left to wait to be let in.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Jean-Marc's. The location was perfect, we were within a 15 min walk of everything we wanted to do in Avignon. The apartment was clean, well stocked, and large for France! The AC was super cold which is what we wanted during 32+ degree weather. We stumbled across a wine tasting right outside the apartment which was perfect. The restaurant right outside the apartment had the best pizza we've had yet in France (and we've had LOTS of pizza). We will stay here next time we come to Avignon!

The apartment is bright and airy and comfortable. However the property manager Welkeys is below par and were most unhelpful. They do not answer phone calls and we made several to the number given to us to ask for an early check in. Take your own maps etc and figure out where you are yourself as there is zero information in the apartment about the area. There is also no information about using the gadgets in the apartment. The washing machine is outside the apartment and you have to stand on a staircase to load the machine! There are some minor repairs needed in the apartment which I have told the owner about in my e mail to him.

Jean-Marc’s flat in Avignon was overall good. Our biggest problem occurred during check-in, when we had told the agency our scheduled arrival time and still were left waiting out on the street with our luggage for about 45 minutes. We really would suggest looking into a self check-in option if someone cannot be there in a prompt time frame. Once we moved on from that, the apartment was really great. Fantastic location and very comfortable!

This is a well-situated apartment, ideal for accessing the various sights of Avignon. It is very clean, quite spacious, well-equipped (we didn’t cook at all but I believe the facilities were more than adequate should we have chosen to do so), and stylishly decorated. Even in the very hot weather we experienced, the airconditioning ensured we kept cool. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen high quality. The bathrooms seemed to have been recently renovated and were modern and functional.
One slight note of caution: there are two flights of stairs up to the apartment. The building is old, and the stairs might be difficult for those who are not very mobile, or possibly for young children.

The size of the apartment was good for two people or even a family of three. The kitchen, living room combination was comfortable and well laid out. The beds were comfortable, and it was a bonus to have the air conditioning given noisy location. Wifi worked very well, and easy to connect.
The apartment is located above a Carrefour City grocery store who have 2-3 large industrial size garbage bins. Unfortunately the smell makes it’s way to the apartment for part of the day. The smell was evident for 2 of 6 night stay.
The apartment is on two active Squares, so it can be noisy through the night.
I would not recommend this apartment to any friends.

The people in Avignon who managed the property in terms of letting us in and checking us out (Jean-Marc and Awa) were very responsive and helpful. The property is extremely well located and well organized--it has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The beds and fixtures were comfortable and high quality, and the apartment was quiet (especially for such a central location) and clean.
A note: This property is managed by a corporation called Wellkeys (not by individuals, as it would seem from the listing on AirBNB); the corporation is not on site in Avignon. For check in and check out, the corporation requires you to go to their website to supply superfluous data and to give them your personal contact information, taking you outside the AirBNB ecosystem--not comfortable for us. This is clearly an investment property owned by a corporation, and we prefer to support local communities.

Fantastische plek om je snel thuis te voelen in Avignon. Modern appartement, prima uitgerust, gezellig pleintje voor 'de deur', supermarktje op de begane grond, kortom: top!
Contact met de concierge verliep moeizaam - geen reactie op telefoontje/sms-je, dus het was spannend of er iemand zou zijn met de sleutel. Ook tijdens de week (gemeld dat de vaatwasser lekte - geen enkele reactie) en tot slot: op het laatst toch maar weer gebeld en toen bleek dat we de sleutel in het appartement konden achterlaten.
Contact met de concierge verliep moeizaam - geen reactie op telefoontje/sms-je, dus het was spannend of er iemand zou zijn met de sleutel. Fantastic place to stay: right in the centre yet quiet. If you get a taxi from the station, ask to go to Place Pie rather than the street name, as our driver got lost! It’s just to the right of Carrefour City - impossible to miss. Very easy check in, perfectly clean and really comfy bed. Perfect in every way!

The apartment was just like the pictures, very nice, clean, large and conveniently located. The laundry was outside the unit and there were issues checking in, had a 3pm check in time and no one showed until after 3:30 pm (had to message and call). I believe the post said the host spoke English but no one that we needed to communicate with spoke English. We asked about a late check out and never got a response.

The apartment is fantastic- everything worked great (including air con) and although we were 2 people it would be comfortable for four. Very clean well appointed (IKEA) and beds comfortable. It is in the heart of Avignon, everything is an easy walk. Avignon was rougher around the edges than we expected, but we felt perfectly safe (more so than some cities in the USA). And we found some great clothes to buy! Be aware that the owners outsource the checkin / checkout / questions to wellkeys, a third party, and we found it difficult to communicate with them when we needed quick info. We speak enough French that it was not us who were the problem. For example, they send you an automatic email ahead of time with a portal that you are supposed to use for checkin, chats etc and it seems wellkeys never looks at it. You do have a local mobile to contact them as well but it is spotty to get info when you need it, especially being unfamiliar with Avignon and having to schedule checkin based on arrival times that vary at the last minute based on normal things like traffic, catching taxis, etc. Our concierge had two check ins at the same time for example (we were second in line but we were unclear that they understood we were waiting outside the apartment when we were actually on time …in the end we only waited for 10-15 minutes). That said I would stay here if I were in Avignon again but unless they change things with wellkeys you can’t expect to show up and have access to the apartment immediately, which is unusual in our experience with Airbnb’s.

We were very disappointed and being treated unfairly by the concierge Jean-Marc when checking in and later on being threatened by email to report us to local authority for something we didn’t do at all.
Having been using airbnb for over 10 yrs with impeccable records, I am very familiar with the routine of airbnb for checking in and checking out and so far I am pretty good with that. Prior to checking in I have been shooting some messages to the host (concierge in this case) timing for our checking in and so on, and since we are driving sometimes it is hard to have exact time, but I was being very good updating the timing along the way, fr the night before, the morning, an hour before and while arrived, I also ask few questions like where can we park, can we drop the bags in front of the apartment, but none of my messages had been responded by the concierge. So we arrived at the appointed time (maybe 10 min after since we had to drag our bags from the parking to the apartment, what a nightmare because the concierge was not there. So I have to call to the number that was being provided (int’l call for me) to ask for the concierge where about and hve someone open the door of the apt.
After an hour of waiting and several phone calls to the office, he showed up, still not responded to any of my messages in airbnb apps, instead of apologizing he started yelling at us in French for calling to his headquarter Paris and made him look bad!
We were so confused, exhausted after long hours of driving from Annecy to Avignon and also had to standing in front of the apartment with all of our luggages for an hour.
None of us speak French well and we all are super tired and has no more energy to even responded to his yelling so we just asked him to stop scolding us and please open the door of the apartment. I thought I will deal with this incident when I got home since I didn’t want to ruin our holiday, and for now just enjoy our holiday.
But a couple days after, the night before we are going to check out, we got an email from the concierge office, explaining about check out procedure and shockingly accusing us for mistreated the concierge during the check in and he is threatening to report to the local authority ( I assume police) for that behavior!
We were so worried, as tourist in foreign country being reported to Police for something we didn’t even do, thats blackmailing and very scary.
we reported this incident to the airbnb along with all the evidence of his email and the messages fr us prior to checking in that he never responded.
No actions were being done by airbnb to the concierge and they said after talking to them they concluded that it was just a personal conflicts between the 2 parties.
It was a disappointments because they should have taken this more seriously for concierge represented the host to not doing his job properly, to lie and to blackmailing the foreign guests by threatening to report them to authority. But good thing we were now back to US safely.

As you mention, you did not respect the check-in time agreed upon prior to your arrival. Because our concierge is managing various properties, he was not able to wait for you and came back to open the apartment as soon as he could. Upon arrival, you insulted him and demonstrated a very agressive behavior which has been witnessed by multiple people.
