Located on the 2nd floor (with elevator), this beautiful bright flat with a view on the street next to the opera-theatre of 50 m² is composed of :

Leave the Place de l'Horloge on your way out and at the corner of the street on the right, you have a choice of restaurants with excellent provencal cuisine. Un emplacement central peut malheureusement s'accompagner d'un niveau sonore plus important. La climatisation présente dans le salon suffit normalement à rafraîchir l'ensemble du logement. Perfect apartment for the two of us. Quite clean, had everything we needed. Location so close to the Palais des Papes and Place de l'Horloge was wonderful. Avignon is wonderful place from which to explore all of Provence. Garage in basement was a big plus for us, as we had a car for day trips. However, we discovered that getting into the inner city (inside the wall) to our parking place was rather difficult (streets often closed). Recommend hosts provide some guidance on how to navigate these situations. All-in-all, it's a wonderful apartment and we had a great stay.

The apartment was clean, airy, & comfortable. Being in the heart of Avignon made it easy to do shopping for groceries, souvenirs, etc; and the myriad of good restaurants at our doorstep made it a pleasure to eat. We especially enjoyed walking the Place D’Horloge grabbing a bite or enjoying a cocktail. Driving on the narrow streets was difficult as was getting into our garage. However with much care we did it without scratching our rental car (which was small).

The place is perfectly located in the center of Avignon.
The biggest issue for us was the A/C during summer time. There was only one portable A/C in the living room which was quite noisy. There was no A/C in the bedroom except an "air purifier" which didn't give out too much cool air. We kept all the window shades down all the time and left the portable A/C running. However, it was still quite hot during the night.

Nous n'avons eu aucun contact avec Corine. l'agence welkeys ne se manifeste que 48h avant l'arrivée. Pas de rappel aux messages laissés, accueil peu chaleureux et messages trop insistants pour la sortie. sans compter qu'il a fallu rappeler pour rendre les clefs, car 40 mn de retard. Logement sale et bruyant. la climatisation est sur roulette dans le séjour uniquement et extremement bruyante. Donc le choix entre l'air de clim la nuit mais le bruit, ou l'air frais extérieur mais réveil matin 5h20, donc fermeture des fenêtres et trop chaud. 1,650€ la semaine est beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité dans l'ensemble de ce logement. Un bon nettoyage, une vrai climatisation et une bonne isolation phonique extérieure et cet appartement sera a la hauteur du prix demandé.

The pros: location is really great for sight seeing and restaurants. And it ends here. I normally don't write bad reviews, but to be helpful for others - I would stay away during the summer unless you are willing to sleep on the couch. There is no ac in the bedroom so it was very uncomfortable to sleep. There was dust all inside the fan unit so we were not going to use that and there were not any extra towels. Just two toal for our stay even though we were also staying with our two-year-old. They failed to provide a crib for the first night and said they left it outside our door over night. Door was very tricky to open and when I messaged the host several times to ask for help with parking, getting the door to open, finding out how to meet them to pass the keys, her answer was always simply to contact the manager (Francois the manager was friendly but cannot speak any English which is fine if you can speak French). Would only recommend this place for a bachelor.

The plastic pipe from the evaporative air cooler disintegrated as we gently moved the unit. Immediately we advised Eva and asked for the problem to be resolved. Several hours later, with no contact, the apartment was too hot for us to remain. So we were forced to check out.
Welkeys and Corine Delaye then demonstrated unscrupulous and opportunistic behaviour by asking us to pay literally hundreds of euros to replace this extremely heat affected and aged pipe. They asked Us to pay for something that was their responsibility (and that like all appliances degrade over time). We remain shocked, and feel that we have been scammed. Using appliances exactly as shown and then being charged when they break (through no fault of our own, rather the normal wear and tear and brittleness and age of the plastic which would be heated for long periods) is exploitative. We would Never stay with this company Welkeys again and remain upset and unsettled.

Fulfilled our needs for a short stay in Avignon very well. Weren't happy that we had to make up our own beds, including sofa bed - we do actually pay for this service, n'est-ce pas? The person showing us the apartment seemed inconvenienced but I guess customer care isn't high on their list. Otherwise; super!

Nice apartment good location. Clean quiet functional. Smart use of kitchen area to include bench seating. Fridge at good height not on floor. Earlier checkout than most. Garage car park access & space look tight but actually not. Got an suv in & out no trouble. Lift for bags from garage to apartment a plus. Happy to recommend & would stay again

The apartment is centrally located, close to restaurants, shopping and attractions. It was very comfortable and clean, with ample bedding, towels and toiletries supplied. Communication with the host was good. However, communication with the managing company was unsatisfactory. The light in the toilet stopped working on our first night, and despite contacting the company on two separate occasions, the light was never replaced. It was quite unsafe in the dark, not to mention very inconvenient.

Pros: Well located, clean, and has good amenities, a well equipped kitchen. Excellent location in the middle of the old town. Has a private car park (although it is very narrow - compact cars only). Easy to get in/out.
Issues:
- chaotic arrival. Hard to figure out where it is in the semi-pedestrian zone, the (very nice) gentleman who met us was a little late, hard to locate, and spoke nary a word of English (we managed, but it was stressful)
- there was no air conditioning and no fan in the bedroom (as were advertised). We requested clarification from the management team contacts but they were unresponsive to our queries. Not a big deal as we were there in May and could open the windows to cool the place down at night (with the trade-off of more street noise), but lack of response was bothersome and it might be unworkable in summer if they don't provide other options
- shower was scalding hot in the morning and then had no hot water in the evening (we didn't try middle of the day)

Apartment was bright and airy and the location was fabulous! We did not have a car and it was only a 15-20 minute walk to the Avignon Centre train station. Steps away from all the attractions and restaurants..perfect.
The kitchen was very well equipped, one of the best that we have encountered. The Wi-Fi was great. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows and quilt tucked away in the closest. Washing machine a plus. It was super clean!
It is a lively area and could be a bit noisy when the windows were open, especially at night. The windows were double pane so noise not a problem if windows were closed. It was on the cusp of being warmish with the windows being closed at night when we were there. There is no air conditioning in the bedroom so it might be problematic if the summer temperatures were abnormally high as they have been the last couple of years.
There were onsite managers that were limited value to us as we don’t speak French. Corrine was however, very responsive.

The location cannot be beat. There was some street noise, but only during normal hours, and was not an issue. We were completely comfortable in the apartment and the neighborhood. Best coffee machine, too!

We loved staying right in the heart of Avignon.
A great apartment with all needed
We were met on arrival and shown through, and although we did speak French, and he did speak English we easily worked everything out, and if we had not there were instructions in English in the apartment.

Pros- excellent location; good size and spacious; amenities were good.
Cons- checkin process where we were handed the keys was tedious since agent was only speaking in French and didn’t know one word in English. So couldn’t communicate or ask anything. The wellskey people should do a better job assigning agents who can speak in English especially for international visitors.
Secondly, the French speaking agent refused to assist in any way and just said that it wasn’t their problem if we couldn’t understand French. Also when we asked about tv not working he said he wasn’t the owner and couldn’t communicate with he owner since they were in the US.
There may have an easy solution to one part of the problem if the keys and fob can be kept in a digital lock box.
Summary: In short, apartment was great, location was perfect and clean, but our recommendation is that if you can speak in French ok to book.

My husband and I spent a week in the apartment in Avignon. The apartment was very functional and clean. The features which were really useful for us: 1. Location - it’s so well located, right in the middle of Central Avignon. 2. Air conditioning in the living room. 3. Good sized dishwasher and washing machine. 4. Parking space for our rented car. 5. Easy communication with the local person in Avignon via WhatsApp.
As Europe was experiencing unprecedented heat wave when we were there, the bedroom (not air conditioned) remained very hot the whole week. We solved this by sleeping in the sofa bed in the living room which was fine.
All in all, we have enjoyed our stay in Avignon.

Corine’s place is indeed a cozy and modern apartment right in the heart of Avignon. Communication with Corine was good and timely, before arrival and on arrival and departure days.
The apartment is about 300 yards from the Palais des Papes, the Pont d’Avignon, and some great restaurants. Our eating recommendations are; for a quick breakfast Lou Mistrau on Rue Felicien David, best dinner L’Essentiel, Rue de la Petitie Fusterie, good dinner with a great view Le Moutardier du Pape across from the Palais.
In the apartment there is an excellent washing machine, iron, and ironing board, if like us you travel light and need to launder your clothes along the way.
While there is parking in the basement, on this particular weekend, the Avignon festival was in full swing making access a serious challenge. We chose to park in the parking deck at 2 Rue Ferruce, signed for the Palais des Papes, costing around 15 euros each overnight.
We found Avignon to be an excellent post river cruise base, with easy access to the Pont du Gard (impressive Roman aqueduct), Orange (amazing Roman theatre ruins) and the Camargue (wild flamingos and horses).

Die Lage und Ausstattung des Apartments ist wirklich super. Es liegt nur wenige Schritte von der wunderschönen Innenstadt und diversen Restaurants entfernt! Avignon ist eine Reise wert und in dem Apartment ist alles, was man braucht, vorhanden und die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll (das Bett ist allerdings nur 1,90 m lang, aber da es kein festes Fußteil hat, hat das nicht gestört)! Zudem ist das Apartment sehr sauber gewesen.
Die Schlüsselübergabe beim Check-in allerdings war nicht gut. Die Wohnungsanzeige mag suggerieren, dass es einen ständigen Concierge vor Ort gibt, dem ist aber nicht so! Die Betreuung ist an eine Firma vergeben, von der jemand vorbeikommt und den Schlüssel incl. einiger Anweisungen zu der Wohnung persönlich übergibt.
Leider mussten wir trotz Terminabsprache über eine Stunde darauf warten. Die Kontaktaufnahme per Telefon hat leider auch keine Hilfe gebracht, da nur ein Anrufbeantworter mit französischem Text ranging. Auch die App/Internetseite der Firma war unübersichtlich und hat keinen Mehrwert gebracht.
Zudem ist völlig unklar, warum man im Vorwege für diese Firma den eigenen Personalausweis hochladen musste. Was wird mit diesen Daten gemacht?
Dieser sehr schlechte Eindruck beim Check-in vergeht aber nach einiger Zeit und die Lage des Apartments tröstet einen über diese negative Erfahrung hinweg. Für uns wird aber immer klarer, dass ein persönlicher Check-in mit Schlüsselübergabe nicht zeitgemäß und immer zu Lasten des Mieters geht. Die Übergabe mittels Schlüsselbox ist deutlich komfortabler und für uns zukünftig ein Ausschlusskriterium bei der Wohnungsauswahl!

Perfect location! A flat 15 min walk from the center train station (some cobble stones). Once there you are near a square, steps away from the popes palace and the opra hall is seen from your window! Corine’s home is beautiful and clean. Would say here again!

Très bel appartement très bien situé et avec une place de parking. Ce qui est très utile dans Avignon. La ville n’est pas faite pour les voitures (ce qui est très appréciable). L’appartement est très bien équipé avec tout le nécessaire pour un séjour. Lave vaisselle. Lave linge. Une cuisineu très bien équipée. Tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et le ménage est présent.
Wifi et box télé (et Netflix ;)). L’appartement est très calme et l’immeuble bien sécurisé.
L’arrivée se fait facilement et le contact avec la personne qui gère l’appartement très facile.
L’appartement est à 1 min du palais des papes et des ruelles de la ville.

Excellent location, nicely furnished and very clean apartment. It was great to be able to do laundry and make a few of our own meals. The appliances all work great.
We did have to coordinate with a property management company. Communication was with them but they were very responsive.
The a/c is only in the living room but there is a good fan in the bedroom.

Excellent location right in the centre of Avignon, only a stone’s throw away from the Palais des Papes. The streets around the apartment are difficult to manoeuvre with a car so make sure to rent a small car. The parking under the apartment block was very safe. The kitchen was really well equipped and the apartment had everything we needed for our stay! Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Corine’s and would be happy to recommend it as an excellent base for seeing Provence.

L'appartement proposé par Corine est vraiment une belle adresse pour découvrir Avignon. Nous avons pu tout faire à pied et le garage est vraiment un plus. Le logement est vraiment très bien équipé (climatisé) et propre. L'accueil a été parfait.

The appartment is perfectly situated in Avignon. Getting there with the car can be a bit of a pain because of the location in the heart of Avignon and it is important that arrival is timed carefully because there is not much space to wait outside and the parking garage cannot be entered without the host.
After booking the appartment you have to Check-in on the Welkeys Page, where I was able to choose Lock-Box Check-In although this is not possible for the appartment. This leeded to a bit of a missunderstandig about the Check-In time but on arrival day communication was good and we were welcomed friendly and without any problems. Entrance for the parking garage is just around the corner and there is a big enough parking spot.
The appartment is fully equipped with everything you need and we especially liked the air conditioning in the living room.
If you want to stay in the heart of Avignon and especially if you don't want your car to be placed in a public garage we can absolutely recommend this appartment.
