The neighborhood
In the heart of Chamonix, 500 m from the Planparaz gondola, you will be in the best place to enjoy the town's huge ski area. All the shops, including ski rental and equipment shops, are within easy reach of the flat, as well as numerous bars and restaurants. All the leisure opportunities are within walking distance: the Casino and the Alpine Museum in 1 minute and the Thermal Centre in 8 minutes by foot. You can reach the Planparaz gondola in 5 minutes. But you can also easily move around the town and reach the other cable cars thanks to the bus network. Finally, in summer, you will also find many activities: shopping, hiking, mountain biking...

There was an outrageous $180 cleaning fee! That’s more than one night’s stay. The place was not large and there’s no way it costs $180 to clean it. Checkout was 10:00 which is early and they wanted to charge us $47 for even a few extra minutes. Worst of all they sent us the wrong key code to enter and we were stuck outside, unable to reach the host for a while. She claimed she tried to reach us on WhatsAp despite that not being a way Airbnb reaches people. She had our phone, text, and email and didn’t use any of them. Why in the world was she trying to reach us on WhatsAp?! And no apology for the wrong door code being sent. The location was perfect, but the place could use garbage cans in the bathroom and paper towels or napkins. There was a coffee maker and washing machine but no coffee and only one laundry detergent pod. Located on top of a bar, so some noise. But again, the location was perfect!!

Pictures of apartment are much nicer than actual unit is, bathtub and shower not adequate size for someone over 5ft5in, chairs are not comfortable.
Good was lots of hot water and bedding and linens were good, beds were comfortable and location was great (except during a marathon with finish line below our balcony. )

Fantastic value for money. Four of us stayed comfortably in the apartment. The location was brilliant and the views from the balcony were stunning. We were close to all the shops and restaurants and walking distance to the ski lifts and bus stops.

Tiene excelente ubicación en el centro de Chamonix, la comunicación fue clara y el lugar era exactamente como en las fotos. Nos encantó que es espacioso y tiene una gran dotación en la cocina (para quienes les guste cocinar).
Realmente queda muy cerca de todo, está en una zona tranquila que permite descansar y la vista es increíble.

We had the most incredible stay at this Airbnb in Chamonix's central square! The view of Mont Blanc from the window was absolutely breathtaking, making every moment feel like a scene from a postcard. Fabulous view and location. Very reasonable price, yet hand held shower (did not realize not a shower) and low ceiling in shower make very difficult for taller guest. Bathroom not very clean and shower curtain was cloth and had pink mold all on bottom. Could have been resolved with a shower pole and new shower curtain. Noted as self check in. Yet individual was upset that I was not there at the check in time. 45 minutes later. I noted. Even though emailed Air bnb That would be arriving a little later from a 5 hour journey. Certainly a reasonable price yet above shower was disappointing thank you.

Great spot right in downtown Chamonix. You can get to everything easily and had great views right out the windows. It was a bit loud at night with activity in the street but otherwise, a great spot.

Appartement idéalement placé, proche de tout y compris d’un parking. Cependant très bruyant le weekend la nuit, impossible de dormir paisiblement : musique du bar jusqu’a 2h du matin puis bruit des randonneurs de bon matin (vers 5h).. L’appartement est sinon fonctionnel, bien isolé (température) et avec une belle vue.

Overall, the view made the place worth it. Also it was a very walkable location with plenty of good restaurants nearby. It could've been less dusty and have some basic improvements such as the shower hose and maybe a little bit more soundproofing.

Excellent location in Chamonix, extremely warm, comfortable beds with decent pillows and good clean bedding. Easy to communicate with hosts. Apartment would of been better with a decluttering and sorting of cupboard spaces and maybe a couple of more comfortable chairs. Didn’t spoil our stay though.

The apartment was perfect for our group. Excellent location very close to downtown Chamonix and close to the bus stops. Great for a small family or close friends. Only comment is the shower was not ideal if you are over 6 foot so would not advise if you are very tall. Otherwise a great stay!

Everything was perfect with the exception of communication. I ended up sending messages to an email and receiving a response from someone who had no idea what I was talking about. This was a bit frustrating. But we figure it out through many email. In the end the cleaning lady let me in on day 1 and I hid the key under the carpet on my last day. May I suggest an info list of details such as where to throw garbage, what to do upon departure, etc. Which May assist in coordinating arrival, departure and small details around the house. I had a wonderful time in Chamonix and the apartment is super. Thank you.

The apartment was nice and cold, even on hot days We only got one key to share When renting an apartment in Chamonix it includes free bus and train rides in the full valley, if you can simply provide a contact name and phone number. This was not possible to get.
