Located on the 3rd floor of a typical Marseille building (no lift), this elegant and air-conditioned flat, recently refurbished, consists of a pleasant living space of 55 m² and contains :

- a bathroom with shower,
- a well-equipped kitchen (coffee machine, kettle, microwave, fridge, hotplates, dishwasher),

To preserve the tranquility of surroundings, a Roomonitor unit enabling to report an unusual noise level after 10PM has been installed inside the flat. This one only detects sound variations and respect your privacy. There is also a camera in the living area.

This beautiful flat is ideally located, in the heart of the 1st arrondissement of Marseille in a pedestrian street, to discover the city on foot. Ideal to go to the Old Port (8 min walk), visit museums (Mucem, the museum of Marseille, the Cantini museum...), markets and beautiful squares with Mediterranean colours. Close to the Plage des Catalans (15 min by car) and the terraces to have a drink in the sun. We also recommend the restaurants Restaurant 1860, Maison MV, La Nautique or Le Fioupelan for a good meal. Finally, there is nothing better than simply strolling around, Marseille will seduce you with its many assets!

They ask you for a deposit of 700e once the reservation is confirmed which is mentioned before but if you are not used to reading all the details you'll be surprised..
You only pay service fees (2-15e) and they make a hold of your card until check out ( pre authorization ) but it's something you might want to know before booking.
Also the host Hervé was not friendly at all.

Dans certains cas, le check-in et le check-out se font effectivement sans la présence de l'un de nos concierges. Nos équipes sont toutefois à votre disposition par téléphone pour répondre à chacune de vos demandes. Les caméras ont été installés par le propriétaire suite à des squatters l'an dernier. Celles-ci ne fonctionnent pas actuellement. Les centres-villes connaissent généralement une activité plus importante, c'est un facteur à prendre en compte lors du choix de votre location. Apartment was in excellent condition and appeared to have been refitted recently. Generally well set up and two bedrooms worked for us. Dishwasher was a bonus. Professional communication and pick up of keys was easy.
Not a "didn't like" however for awareness it is up 3 narrow, although well lit, sets of stairs.
The area itself is not as nice as closer to the port however the flat itself is well located for transport links.

La localisation est exceptionnelle !!!! Le quartier Noailles est super dynamique. L'appartement est à 10 minutes à pieds de tout (la gare Saint Charles, le Vieux Port, le Panier,...)! L'appartement est aussi bien meublé et tout équipé. C'est même très spacieux pour la France. Il y a aussi quelques produits de base pour la cuisine. Nous avons été acceuillies par Hervé qui nous a tout bien expliqué. Tout était parfait!!!

Очень стильные и уютные апартаменты. Близко к центру, но на тихой улице. Удобные кровати, банные принадлежности, кухня укомплектована всем необходимым, много посуды. Небольшой балкончик с видом во двор (это и по фото видно). Нам это не помешало хорошо провести время в Марселе! Вечером мы с удовольствием возвращались в квартиру отдохнуть! Жаль, что мы были там всего 3 дня, не хотелось уезжать! Спасибо хозяину за советы по поводу магазинов и ресторанов, побывали благодаря ему в очень атмосферном месте. Всё было замечательно!

L’espace dans l’appartement était top pour 4 personnes. Les chambres étaient lumineuses, la climatisation fonctionne au top, l’alarme dans l’appartement est un vrai plus, l’endroit était propre et bien entretenu.
Attention voisins du bas extrêmement bruyants dès le matin, quartier proche de la gare donc agité mais proche des commerces qui sont ouverts jusqu’à tard donc cela compense. Dommage qu’il n’y ait qu’un seul trousseau de clé…c’est un gros point à changer!

J'ai apprécié le calme de l'appartement par rapport à la rue et les voisins, la literie confortable et la propreté de l'appartement.
Je n'ai pas aimé :
- Les travaux dans la cage d'escalier qui ne m'ont pas été signalés, avec les bruits des travaux qui commençaient à 08h00 le matin donc pas de grâce mâtiné possible.
- La porte des toilette est tellement dure à ouvrir et fermer que je n'ai pas osé la fermer à clef.
- Nous avions besoin de joindre quelqu'un le dimanche 05 mais personne n'a répondu après plusieurs appels.
- Dans le prix était compté le ménage, malgré tout, il m'a été demandé de faire la vaisselle en partant et de descendre la poubelle.

The appartment was "clean looking", however there were bedbugs and we left 2 days into a 6 day stay. Still no response from Welkeys.
I didnt like the bedbugs on the couch and the bed. My wife, myself, and my kids were covered in bug bites every night in that place. I have been all over and never had this happen, even in NYC.

Très étonné par les commentaires passés. Les fenêtres pleines de traces de doigts, des cheveux un peu partout, un sol sale, un rideau de douche à laver… pas même une bouteille d’eau, d’huile ou de vinaigre. Juste une salière et des capsules de café usagées… un rouleau à peinture dans le tiroir de la cuisine, des couverts cassés en deux. Au pire vous avez la notice IKEA et des pièces dans les sachets pour finir de monter le meuble. Une serviette usagée dans une des chambres aussi. La vue incroyable ? J’ai les photos sur le téléphone et elles sont un souvenir terrible que je n’oublierai jamais. Peut être des commentaires passés plein d’humour ?…

The location was central and well-placed. It was also very spacious, and well-air conditioned. The bathroom and toilet facilities were comfortable and modern. The furnishings and beddings were also very comfortable.
While the apartment's features and furnishings were comfortable and the rooms were well sized and well air-conditioned, the level of cleanliness was below what was expected given the price range (my children's feet turned black after being barefoot for only an hour from entering the apartment). There were also complications with the independent check-in (the keybox was not working), so we had to wait for someone to come to the property to provide a key.|
The property was not accessible from the road - it was located within a pedestrianised street where vehicle access was restricted. As I was travelling with small children and required to unload various heavy items (baby sleeping cot, etc), this was considerably inconvenient. This could have been clearer from the property listing.

Bel appartement plutôt confortable et très bien situé : une petite rue assez calme à deux pas de la canebiere et du cours julien ! Le service de conciergerie qui le gère est plutôt arrangeant même s’il est parfois difficile de s’y retrouver pour savoir qui il faut contacter.

The state of the appartement was not as shown on picture. There were big dirty spots on the sofa, the linen, the pillows and the towel. The worst was the bathroom curtain who had rust and Mold at the bottom.
The wifi cut off suddenly during the night and the toilet is located next to the kitchen so a bit unsanitary and unpractical. We had to shorten our stay and look for a hotel nearby. Very disappointed.
The lockbox of the key was convenient but a bit uneasy to find at night.

Good evening,
Yesterday, we received a message 1h before checkin with the address, instructions etc. At first we went to the address listed in the airbnb app. We had received a code for the keybox but it wouldn’t open. We then contacted the person who had sent the message and asked, sent a photo of where we were and asked for help. We then discovered that the address that was sent to us before checkin was not the same as the one on airbnb. We thought we had made a mistake and walked over to what we thought was the correct address. We opened the keybox and went inside. We then noticed that it was not the place we had made a reservation for at all. We called and the person on the phone said that they had sent the wrong address and directed us back to the initial address, now with another code for the keybox.
We headed back and were called up again to find out that the cleaner had the keys and would let us in. By now an hour had passed, we had been walking in pouring rain, all our clothes and bags soaked. We were looking forward to getting ready for our remaining day in Marseille when the cleaner tells us that she’s not finished yet, that the bathroom and bedroom still need to ble cleaned. Already an hour late, we kindly asked her to finish up what she was doing and leave the rest, since we had a reservation at a restaurant that we didn’t want to miss.
We understand that mistakes can happen but we felt that it could have been handled differently from your side. We are not very happy with the checkin experience as you might understand. We would like some form of compensation for this. I’m not the one to leave bad reviews normally, but we really felt like this affected our trip in a bad way.

Die Wohnung liegt an sich sehr zentral zwischen dem Hafen und dem Cours Julien. Sie ist für den Preis akzeptabel ausgestattet außer die Küche. Hier war die Ausstattung sehr schlecht und anders als beschrieben. Bei Verbrauchsgegenständen wie Müllbeutel, Klopapier, etc. mangelte es stark.
Das größte Problem war der Check-In. Dieser erfolgt über eine Schlüsselbox und nicht wie damals bei der Buchung beschrieben persönlich. Die Lage der Schlüsselbox war falsch beschrieben und man musste sie suchen. Allerdings war die PIN falsch, sodass wir die erste Nacht in einem Hotel schlafen mussten. Die Kommunikation mit dem Host war schlecht - er schien nicht wirklich interessiert an dem Problem. Auch die Beschreibung für das Finden der Wohnung innerhalb des Wohnhauses war stark fehlerhaft. Den Aufzug haben wir den ganzen Aufenthalt nicht gefunden.

Eine große, helle Wohnung in Top-Lage. An sich ist die Wohnung gut ausgestattet und gemütlich, mit großen Schränken in jedem Zimmer und einem schicken und sehr sauberen Bad.
Die Waschmaschine haben wir erst am letzten Tag gefunden, die Mikrowelle gar nicht. Es war schwierig, zu kochen: es gibt nur einen Topf, keine Kelle, keine Suppenteller oder große Schüsseln.
Leider hat ein Nachbar (oder jemand in der Straße?) am Wochenende von nachts um drei bis früh um sieben laut Musik gehört.
Die Waschmaschine haben wir erst am letzten Tag gefunden, die Mikrowelle gar nicht. Es war schwierig, zu kochen: es gibt nur einen Topf, keine Kelle, keine Suppenteller oder große Schüsseln.

El piso es muy bonito y está en una zona céntrica. Tuvimos algún inconveniente y el anfitrión lo solucionó rápidamente. Podría destacar que la limpieza no era 100%

Wohnung sehr zentral gelegen, 2 Min von Canabiere, 10 Min vom Alten Hafen.
Zwei grosse schöne Schlafzimmer mit guten und breiten Betten.
Wasser und Strom hat gut funktioniert, ebenfalls Dusche und Kochherd. Gute Lichtquellen.
Im Parterre befindet sich eine Disco/Club. An einzelne Nächte ist dann nicht mit Schlaf zu rechnen.
Sofa im Wohnzimmer mit vielen Flecken, sollte ausgewechselt werden. Ebenfalls der Duschvorhang.
Die Möbel sind allgemein sehr billig und darum wackelig.
Kühlschranktüren (doppelte) sind falsch installiert, deshalb schwierig zu öffnen.

Appartement conforme aux photos, qui semble être récemment rénové. Situé à 10 min à pied du vieux port, pratique pour découvrir la ville à pied. Beaucoup de commerces de proximité au pied de l’immeuble.
Néanmoins, beaucoup de points négatifs. 1/ La literie : les lits ne sont que des 140 cm, et pas du tout les lits king size annoncés. Les draps sont trop petits, un drap simple fait office de drap housse et il est trop petit pour être coincé sous tous les bords du lit. Résultat, le lit se défait constamment la nuit, et comme il n’y a pas d’alèse, on se retrouve directement sur le matelas. 2/ L’emplacement : il y a un bar au rez-de-chaussé de l’immeuble (le Sam Sam « L’orientale », non répertorié sur Google mais qui existe bel et bien). Il propose des soirées dansantes/musicales de minuit à 6h du matin. Sur les 4 nuits passées dans l’appartement, il a été littéralement impossible de dormir 2 nuits (vendredi et samedi soir, le bar était fermé le dimanche et le lundi, mais selon sa page Facebook en été il est ouvert tous les jours sauf le lundi). 3/ Le ménage est assez léger, si les sanitaires, la cuisine et les draps sont propres, le sol est vraiment sale. Il y a de la poussière et des poils par terre, les pieds deviennent noirs 5 minutes après être sorti de la douche… Pas très agréable.
