However, there are a few things to mention about the house. The floors were not cleaned, and the house was not aired out, so there was a very strong odor as soon as we entered. The house should have been ventilated before our arrival. The duvets in the rooms were stuffed into the closets and were dirty. The carpets were filthy, and there was a sewage smell throughout the house, which needs to be addressed. The entire house was dusty, and the balcony and windows were dirty, so professional cleaning is necessary.
In the bathroom, the whole room gets wet when taking a shower, which also causes an unpleasant smell. It felt like only the bed sheets were changed after the previous guest, with no other preparations made. The towels were washed but had stains. Overall, the cleanliness of the house was far from satisfactory.

Shower in main bathroom leaking all over floor on arrival. Made the apartment smell of damp. Told not to use. Could not use 1 out of the 2 bathrooms in the 4 day trip. Rooms were not configured as per the photos.

Appartement en plein centre ville donc très bruyant le jour et également la nuit même avec les fenêtres fermées.
malgré nos sollicitations auprès de notre correspondant nous sommes restés avec plusieurs problèmes durant notre séjour

Few issues. There is a 1/2 step in main bed room right inside the door. We had three different guests trip over it, 1 who tripped over it and fell in the middle of the night.
The unit is advertised as 3 bedrooms and 2 baths for 6 guests,. There are 2 showers. Unfortunately there is only 1 toilet. This is not very practical for 6 adults..
Lastly, small issues that are easy to fix. Both showers need small, plastic removable water dams at openings and a soap dish/holder. Both vanities need a soap dish.

Negatives Complete lack of management from Welkeys. Notified them that the air-conditioning unit in the main bedroom was leaking and flooding the floor. They replied initially then no further emails the rest of the week. Complete lack of management.
Also this rental is very noisy as located on a corner. There is also a strong smell of food coming from the shower rooms from neighbouring apartments. If the aircon issue had been resolved I would be giving it a positive review as close to old town and beaches. We have been going to Antibes for the last 10 years to various holiday rentals and we have never had such a poor customer experience during this time.
With lack of communication and care I will not be staying here again.

Sehr laut, auch nachts; es gibt nur eine Toilette und separat 2 Bäder mit Waschbecken und Dusche (obwohl in der Beschreibung von drei Bädern die Rede war); Schlafcouch kippt um; Balkon nicht nutzbar, da das Apartment direkt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße liegt und auch keine Balkonmöbel vorhanden sind; obwohl im Vorfeld davon gesprochen wurde, dass es einen persönlichen Empfang durch eine Person (Concierge) geben würde, gab es nur ein Video per WhatsApp, wo der Schlüssel zu finden ist und wie der Zutritt zum Apartment möglich ist; es gab für 4 Personen und 4 Nächte eine Rolle Toilettenpapier; Anfragen an den Vermieter nach Check-in wurden bei WhatsApp weder gelesen noch beantwortet; vor Check-in ist über Swilky eine Kaution zu hinterlegen (Pflicht) - nach Check-out wurde behauptet, dass wir am Abreisetag zwei Filme bei TV-Orange bestellt hätten - was nicht der Fall war - und daher wurde von der Kaution ein Betrag über EUR 35,97 einbehalten; meine zahlreichen Dementi wurden nicht anerkannt; Ich kannte weder den Account für TV-Orange des Apartments, noch bin ich oder jemand aus der Gruppe in der Lage, einen Film auf französisch zu schauen (und schon gar nicht am Abreisetag!!! Das nenne ich Abzocke!

OK Property which is extremely poorly managed
Unfortunately, we had a disappointing stay at this property during an 8 night booking in June 2023. Further details are set out below but the key issue was that the air conditioning (AC is even mentioned in the title of the letting!) was not functional in the two bedrooms beside each other, one of which are 11 month old baby was sleeping in. We understand that these things sometimes happen and we reported the issue on arrival, hoping that it would be resolved asap. With the assistance of Google we were able to identify the exact fault and shared all details with the property. The lack of assistance, engagement or understanding we received from the agent during the course of the next 7 days was extremely disappointing. The issue ultimately went unresolved and many of our messages were unresponded to - this can all be evidenced by direct messages with the property on Booking.com and we have raised a formal complaint with Booking.com
After following up repeatedly with the agent we received a small number of sporadic WhatsApp messages from differing numbers / people, some of which we do not know if they even represented the agent. On day 6 we were told that a maintenance person would be available but we were given less than one hour’s notice - we responded to say that we not at the property and at the agent’s request provided alternate times but no response was received. We felt like the property was being managed remotely with nobody available in Antibes to actually assist or coordinate with customers - e.g we should not need to take time out of our vacation to explain the issue multiple times to various WhatsApp numbers as this is the role of the letting agent.
In terms of the property generally, it was as described - it has good space and light and is well equipped.

However, we found the check in process was excessively hard especially for folks traveling from out of the country who needed access to WiFi. They sent a message through the Airbnb app with a link that they said would have all check in instructions. It did not so we contacted the number they provided. The person who answered told us to call another number and then to download what’s app to receive check in directions. This process took quite a while.
We had an early flight out and there were several check out instructions. We asked where to take the trash and received no response. The lock box we were supposed to return the keys to was no longer there so we had to leave the keys inside the unit.
