This charming 48 m² air-conditioned flat is located on the 2nd floor (without lift) and is composed of :
- a very nice balcony with a clear view on the sea,
- a bright living room with panoramic view and a comfortable sofa-bed,
- a very well equipped kitchen (coffee machine, ice machine, kettle, microwave, hotplates, fridge, dishwasher)

Framed by white limestone cliffs to the west and pine forests and vineyards to the east, it has the charm of a pleasant fishing village. The flat is located close to the town centre, 1 min from the port and 4 min walk from the beach, with all the tourist facilities nearby. This popular seaside resort invites you to stroll through the winding streets. Watch the hustle and bustle of the port or take a boat trip to the Calanques. The cliffs of Cap Canaille are the highest in Europe. Don't miss the charm of the many colourful fishermen's houses and the town's friendly cafés and restaurants.

Arrival information - messaged to us late, when we were actually there (the premises actual address/ tricky directions hadn’t been supplied till then) no concierge to greet guests, all by WhatsApp, misleading to locate the key it was by block C door not the front gate(& Katia at Welkeys didn’t take feedback well) Poor first impression of Welkeys !

Mode d’arrivée/départ tout en distanciel, nécessite de questionner par whatsapp pour avoir des explications sur le fonctionnement de l’appartement. Même si les réponses sont rapides, c’est peu chaleureux.
Quelques équipements méritent de l’entretien (poignée de porte, revêtement mural)

Cassis est un village, tout en Côtes et descentes et l accès à l appartement n y echappe pas, mais peu importe car la vue et la toute proximité du port compétence ce désagrément.

L’appartement n’était pas très propre ( poussière, saletés poubelles, tiroirs….).
Le prix est cher et il n’a pas été possible de décaler notre séjour suite à un empêchement d’une amie ( qui a du remonter sur Paris car son père hospitalisé en état grave). Donc déçu de ne pas avoir pu s’arranger.

La vue sur la mer et le Cap Canaille est magnifique et le balcon est protégé du vent !

De la Rade heißt hier auch noch ein Hotel und ein Gebäude in der Nähe. Das war bei der Ankunft verwirrend. Aber das lag vielleicht auch an uns. Letztendlich haben wir es ja dann geschafft 🙌

La cuisine ouverte est superbement équipée, tout le confort y est. Beaucoup de vaisselles et d'ustensiles de cuisine (il y a même un appareil à raclette). Réfrigérateur américain donnant eau fraîche et glaçons. Le basique en épicerie y est (huile, sel, vinaigre, etc.)
La chambre est simple mais confortable.
La salle d'eau est petite mais avec des rangements pour les produits de toilette. Elle est également équipée d'un lave-linge et d'un sèche-linge.
Le séjour offre une superbe vue sur la mer et l'entrée du port de Cassis.
Le port de Cassis est à moins de 5 minutes à pied. Les restaurants et commerces également.
Le Wifi fonctionne très bien, ainsi que la télévision.
Nous avons pu garer la voiture juste en bas, sans supplément.
L'appartement est au deuxième étage, mais pour les personnes âgées ou les enfants, les escaliers sont très faciles à monter, les marches ne sont pas hautes (environ 15cm)
Ne pas apporter trop de vêtements car il manque des rangements pour une famille, et la penderie est toute petite, tant en hauteur qu'en largeur.
La salle de bain sent l'humidité, mais en laissant la porte ouverte, cela passe très bien.
Le gros point noir de l'appartement est la douche. Le flexible fuit au niveau du pommeau, ceci n'est pas bien grave. Mais la robinetterie de la douche est infernale. Une fois les mains savonnées, on ne peut plus tourner les robinets ! Il faut alors se rincer les mains au lavabo, ou prendre une serviette pour tourner les robinets.

Ceci étant dit, je n'apprécie pas le système welkeys qui est impersonnel et nous inonde de messages. On croit arriver chez un particulier et on se retrouve sur une conciergerie, ce qui ne correspond pas à l'esprit airnbn.
Coté confort, l'appart est super. confortable et très bien situé. La place de parking est un vrai plus a cassis.
A revoir : la douche qui fuit (pas de joint) et la douche tropicale qui ne fonctionne pas (calcaire je suppose). Joints de porte de douche a remplacer également.

Vue imprenable depuis le balcon sur le port, et le cap canaille !
Nous y étions hors saison donc tout était très calme. L’appartement est pratique, bien équipé et adapté à une famille avec un bébé si toutefois vous avez accès au parking.
De notre côté nous avons découvert le volet de la piece principal bloqué en position fermée et pas de bip pour entrer ni sortir de la résidence, devions donc sonner chez d’autres résidents et/ ou etre tributaires des entrées sorties des voisins - peu nombreux hors saison donc !
Et avons appris cela la veille de notre arrivée !
L’accès au logement est pentu - comme le reste de cassis donc bon à savoir !

Es gibt zwei Minuspunkte:
1) Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig und man hört alles von den Nachbarn.
2) Die Abwicklung der Buchung läuft über Welkeys. Dort macht man Check In / Check Out und muss eine Kaution hinterlegen. Das ist allerdings leider super kompliziert und nervig. Die Platform funktioniert nicht richtig und man wird mit Mails zugeschüttet.

The apartment is well equipped and has an incredible view from the balcony. The view makes the steep uphill walk and two flights of stairs more than worth the effort! Furniture is comfortable, lighting and appliances excellent, and mattress delightful. A real unexpected treat was an American-sized fridge with an ice maker!

Très bien situé par rapport au centre ville, la plage et les balades.
Nous regrettons que le lit, certes très large, ne soit pas confortable car trop mou avec des enfoncements aux 2 places. Le matelas aurait besoin d'être remplacé.
Il n'y avait que 2 plaques de cuisson sur 4 qui fonctionnaient !
Le rideau extérieur du salon ne fonctionnait plus et était coincé.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil de la personne responsable sur place. Elle fut disponible dès que besoin.
Nous sommes prêts à revenir quand le matelas aura été changé et le rideau extérieur réparé.

The stairs, taxi’s couldn’t come up the hill, no instructions for anything, unit was dirty when I arrived and the front door key jammed at least half the time until it finally broke and I was left sitting in the stairwell for 2 hours awaiting a locksmith.

There were only minor inconveniences, but we therefore found the overall price too high. E. g.: The deposit amount seemed a bit excessive to us, but ok, it is mentioned when booking. What is not mentioned is that you still have to pay a fee of 7 EUR for leaving the deposit. The check-in information was sent to us very late, therefore, as we arrived in the dark, it was a challenge to find key and entrance. The bed was so soft and lopsided that I as a tall person could not use it and we moved to the folding sofa in the living room (which was fine for us at the end). The duvet was far to warm but there was no lighter alternative. The TV didn't work properly and there were no instructions how to get it work.

Eher eine 7.5 als eine 8, weil ich bei dem hohen Preis erwartet hätte, dass alles funktioniert und wenn nicht, sich jemand den kümmert. Auf meine Mitteilung an den Ansprechpartner vor Ort, dass die Balkonmarkise nicht funktioniert, hat er nicht mal mit einer Antwort reagiert.

L’appartement est parfaitement situé, la vue depuis la terrasse est magnifique. La place de parking est un gros atout pour une ville comme Cassis où il n’est pas simple de se garer.

Électroménager complet ( réfrigérateur, congélateur, lave linge, sèche linge, lave vaisselle, machine à café dosette, climatisation dans chaque pièce, 2 télévisions, box internet…)
Literie inconfortable et manque du nécessaire pour le premier jours d arrivé (dosette de lessive, lave vaisselle) pas d huile ou de portions de beurre pour faire la cuisine.
Appartement de 4 couchages mais 2 serviettes de bain et 2 échantillons de savons.
Vaisselle sale (reste de salade dans 2 plats)
