I was told the precise address to put in my Uber, which was different from the address listed. I couldn't put the address the host recommended because I only have an English keyboard on my phone and it didn't come up. Thinking it wasn't a big deal and I could just use the actual address, I booked an Uber, with my heavy suitcases in tow. Turns out the property is on a cobblestone hill and cars actually can't go past a certain point. So I had to get out with all my luggage when the car couldn't go any further and was left wandering around, lugging an enormous suitcase up cobblestone steps. When I rang the host her response was that "everyone else could find the property from her videos just fine" ie I was the problem. I had to rely on the kindness of a lovely local lady walking her dog who could speak French while we video called the host. Even this lady struggled with the directions, and she was a native French speaker! Finally we find the place and I lug my suitcase up a flight of stairs. Its 8pm on a Friday by this point. Worst part - there was no toilet paper! All the supermarkets were closed and I had no way to get more and when I told the host I just got an "I'm sorry". I should have had a discount for having to buy it myself and the rouble. Also the Wi-Fi didn't work and I had to use my SIM.

Vous avez prélevé l'empreinte de carte bancaire pour avoir la possibilité de recevoir un dépôt de garantie (1000 euros). Par contre vous m'avez facturé des frais (un peu plus de 8 euros) injustifiables: j'en attends donc le remboursement sans délai.

How disappointing to find a dirty pillowcase on one of our pillows! Also the two spare pillows had no pillowcases on them. I telephoned the manager who said he had no solution other than for me to go and buy a pillowcase and that I would be reimbursed. Not a kind solution when one’s mother has just died! I would have hoped for better.
Also when I booked I asked if there was an iron and was told that there was not. In fact there was one but it would have been easier had I been told this at the beginning.
The Wi-Fi did not work at all which was very annoying as we were trying to organise details for the funeral. Again I explained this to the manager but again there was no tangible solution.
Also could not open the bathroom window.
As regards kitchen equipment in the apartment it would be helpful to have a large salad bowl and how nice it would be to have a small welcome pack such as some basic requirements - tea, coffee etc.We come regularly to Haut de Cagnes and are aware of what a local company offers.
The apartment has great potential but there is no personal service.
Considering one is paying to stay one should not have to chase up for very basic needs.
I am sure these issues could have been rectified.

Desafortunadamente tanto la gestión como el apartamento en sí no han estado a la altura de mis expectativas.
El anfitrión brilló por su ausencia y no puso interés alguno en comunicarse. Apenas empiezo una conversación por mensaje para indicarle la hora de llegada y me contesta que me comunique en francés o inglés. Se suponía que hablaba entre otros idiomas el español. Tuve que usar el traductor del móvil, cosa que también podría haber hecho él. A continuación me mandó unos vídeos explicativos de cómo llegar y recoger la llave. Punto y final. No hubo más comunicación en toda la estancia. Ni siquiera en el checkout.
Por otro lado el alojamiento es como aparece en las fotos pero más desmejorado. Saben sacarle bien las fotos,no cabe duda. Aunque no usé la cocina debo decir que no está completa, las camas muy cutres y los artículos de aseo muy escasos.

We were charged a 22 Euro fee for someone to come and meet us at the property. No one was there. We were told by the company the fee would refunded. We never received a refund and now complaining with Booking.com.
The place is more like a hostel. Be prepared that you will receive instructions that you must take your own bins out at end of departure. Seems disappointing that customers must do this for the price charged.

Place très fleurie, dans la veille ville médiévale.
Manque d'équipement, surtout pour la cuisine, pas de sel ni poivre, huile, four mais pas de plat ni de quoi mettre à chauffer dedans, peu de papier toilette (1 rouleau), savon insuffisant.

Voici les détails en résumé:
L’internet (wifi) ne fonctionne pas. Le proprio se fou complément de ses locataires et ne paie pas ses factures d’internet chez SFR. Nous avons eu plusieurs notifications de non paiement de la part de SFR. Nous avons contacté à plusieurs reprises Welkeys et personne ne s’est présenté sur place afin de régler la situation. Ils ont seulement tenté de contacter le proprio pour qu’il paie sa facture et on avait très peu de suivi de leur part.
Le réseau cellulaire ne fonctionne pas dans l’appartement. Ne comptez donc pas sur votre internet de téléphone. Donc pas de musique, pas de mails, pas d’appels FaceTime avec votre famille, pas de meetings avec le travail, pas de Netflix, pas de vidéo…rien du tout.
Dans l’appartement, il n’y a ni savon à main, ni savon à vaisselle, pas d’huile, pas de sel, pas de poivre, pas d’extra de serviette (ils ont même oublié d’en mettre une pour notre enfant) on en avait que 2, pas de produit pour simplement nettoyer les surfaces de cuisine, pas de passoire pour les pates, pas de rideau dans la chambre, et j’en passe. Wellkeys a dit qu’ils attendraient qu’un client laisse certains produits après son séjour…. Ordinaire. La télévision n’était pas configurée non plus et donc il était impossible d’écouter quoi que ce soit. C’est mon copain qui a configuré le tout pendant 1 heure et finalement on s’est rendu compte qu’il n’y avait aucun chanel et bien évidemment aucune façon d’écouter Netflix (pas de wifi).
Et si vous avez le sommeil léger ou que vous êtes un peu sensible, je vous déconseille fortement cet endroit, car les cloches de l’église juste à côté sonnent aux 30 minutes! Et c’est très fort!! La joie! 😂
Et si vous êtes une personne à mobilité réduite, il faut savoir que les stationnements sont principalement en bas de la colline du village. Il n’est pas possible de s’y rendre en auto. Perso, j’ai aimé cet aspect, car je voyais cela comme une expérience!
Côté positif? La déco! C’est joli et confortable! Le frigo est top, ainsi que le poêle à induction. Un petit appart charmant mais qui manque clairement d’amour pour ses locataires.
Wellkeys ne m’a pas impressionné du tout. Ils sont super gentils, mais quand il vient le temps de régler un problème, on nous transfert, ou nous répond qu’un représentant va nous contacter, ou pire, contacter l’équipe de Airbnb. Bref, je suis déçue du service à la clientèle. Il n’y a rien comme un bon proprio qui loue lui-même son appartement ou maison!!
