This warm and bright flat of 85 m² is located on the 4th floor with lift and is composed of:

Rien de bien grave même si c’était propre dans son ensemble ce n’était pas parfait.. quelques miettes dans le micro-ondes, et poussière sous l’escalier et de ce fait sur le plan de travail et la douche bouchée (même si Clement a été réactif !).

Wir haben nie persönlich einen Mitarbeiter des Vermieters gesehen. Der Schlüssel lag in einem Blumenkasten. Im vierten Stock angekommen, wussten wir nicht welche der drei Wohnungen unsere sein würde, haben aber zufälligerweise die richtige aufgesperrt. Am Ende haben wir sauber gemacht und dabei auch noch den Dreck von einigen Vorgängern weggeputzt. Sesselbezüge und dgl. kann man waschen. Sollte man vielleicht mal tun. Man könnte auch mal den Abfluss der Dusche frei machen.

Lo que no me gustó fue que reserve a través de booking pero a parte, mediante un portal anomenado “welkeys”, piden una fianza de 900€. Los tuvimos que abonar, obviamente. No se hasta que punto se puede hacer así, sin booking de por medio.
Ahora estamos esperando que nos devuelvan el dinero.

- Il manque une TV avec des chaînes gratuites accessibles
- Les chambres sont plus petites que que l'on avait imaginé en photos, mais cela n'est pas gênant pour une semaine de vacances.
- Il faut bien penser à faire laver les alaises et les couettes en plus des draps ( quelques tâches et auréoles).

L’emplacement est idéal pour se promener et aller à la plage sans reprendre la voiture.
La communication avec l’agence centrale au moment de la réservation n’était pas idéale mais une fois que l’hôte local, Mika, a pris la main tout est bien allé.
Nous reviendrons volontiers dans cet appartement si nous en avons l’occasion.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this Airbnb in St Jean de Luz! The location was ideal, with breathtaking views of the ocean and close proximity to charming cafes and shops. The host was incredibly accommodating and ensured a seamless check-in process. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated, modern, and spotlessly clean. The comfortable bed provided a great night's sleep, and the linens were of excellent quality. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare delicious meals during our stay. The balcony was a delightful spot to relax and enjoy the stunning sunset over the beach. The amenities provided, such as reliable Wi-Fi and a cozy living area, made us feel right at home. The host's attention to detail and prompt communication made our experience truly outstanding. I would highly recommend this Airbnb in St Jean de Luz to anyone looking for a perfect vacation getaway. En revanche, malgré plusieurs mails de demandes indiquant que j'étais avec une personne de près de 90 ans qui avait du mal à marcher et que je voulais savoir si une chambre était au premier niveau, je n'ai jamais eu de réponse.
Une fois sur place, je n'ai pu que constater que les deux chambres étaient à l'étage. Donc c'était soit le canapé lit à déplier replier chaque jour (vraiment pas pratique pour quelqu'un d'âgé) soit l'escalier raide au moins une fois par jour alors que j'avais choisi exprès un appartement lumineux avec ascenseur pour éviter les étages....C'est vraiment pas cool....
Autre reproche, même si c'est connu au moment de la réservation, quasiment 200€ de ménage pour 3 jours à deux, ça fait 10 heures de ménage, c'est vraiment beaucoup.

After I booked the apartment on Booking.com I received a couple of confusing emails regarding the security payment from the primary rental company Welkeys. As well the Welkeys site was a bit challenging to navigate and links were not always imbedded. I believe the difficulties rose from translation issues within the emails/site. Everything worked out in the end. The one negative in the apartment where the very smelly incense sticks that were located in a number of the rooms - they all ended up on the balcony for the duration of our stay :)

L’emplacement est idéal, on ne peut pas faire plus près, et il y a tout ce dont on a besoin (Clim, machine à laver, serviettes, etc)
L’appartement est facile d’accès, et la logistique du check-in/check-out est très pratique.
Tout était propre et confortable !

Appartement entièrement refait à neuf, très lumineux, spacieux, à 2 mn du marché des halles, à 3 mn du parking cœur de ville, à 2 mn de la rue piétonne Gambetta, à 5 mn de la plage... le rêve !
Rien ! Tout était parfait !
Juste la douche du haut à réparer pour une meilleure évacuation, mais c'est en cours, et comme nous étions 4, la douche du bas était suffisante.

° Bien demander avant si la grde douche de sdb de l'étage n'est plus condamnée.
° Pas de parking à proximité (5 min de marche, parking gare payant par appli smartphone pratique) mais déchargement bagages aisé au pied de l'immeuble avec ascenseur.
° Lits avec surmatelas mémoire de forme qui peuvent surprendre ... ou déplaire.
