In the heart of Chamonix, close to shops and transport, this comfortable flat is perfect for a stay in the mountains, in winter as well in summer.
Located on the 2nd floor of a beautiful residence (with lift), this charming flat has a living space of 29 m² and is composed of :

The neighborhood
In the heart of Chamonix, 3 min walking from the Aiguille du Midi cable car, you will be in the best place to enjoy the town's huge ski area. All the shops, including ski rental and equipment shops, are within easy reach of the flat, as well as numerous bars and restaurants. All the leisure opportunities are within walking distance: the Casino and the Alpine Museum in 10 minute and the Thermal Centre in 20 minutes by foot. But you can also easily move around the town and reach the other cable cars thanks to the bus network. Finally, in summer, you will also find many activities: shopping, hiking, mountain biking...

Je recommande ce logement, identique à la description. En revanche, petit bémol sur le local à ski car pas de clé pour y accéder donc obligé de mettre les skis dans le logement ce qui est interdit et encombrant.

Super uitzicht op de Mont Blanc. buitendeur met een code, sleutel voor de binnendeur zaten in een sleutelbox met code op de deur zelf. Gratis parking inbegrepen met een kleine badge, wel even moeten zoeken naar een plekje. Op enkele minuten van de hoofdstraat met tal van leuke winkels en restaurantjes. Supermarktje op 2 minuten, bakker op 3 minuten wandelen. Voor een gezin met jonge kinderen ideaal en niet te prijzig. Kwaliteit en beoordeling in functie van de prijs --> circa 650 euro voor 6 dagen/5nachten in augustus, ontbijt niet inbegrepen.
1 rolluik was stuk maar we sliepen toch met het raam open dus voor ons geen probleem.

Het is een super locatie! Het ligt heel centraal en is gemakkelijk te vinden. Er zijn bussen voor de deur en het centrum is op loopafstand. Ook is er de mogelijkheid om te parkeren naast de accommodatie wat heel fijn was.
De ruimte was klein, maar prima.
Het zag er over het algemeen schoon uit, maar als je beter keek was het wel stoffig op planken en schilderijen.
De slaapbank zou vervangen moeten worden. Deze zakt helemaal in en als buikslaper kun je daar absoluut niet slapen. Zowel de slaapbank als het bed zijn erg kort, onze voeten staken uit.
Adriana kon er niet zijn om ons te verwelkomen wegens hoofdpijn, dit was verder geen probleem, omdat de instructies die zij gaf wel duidelijk waren en ze reageerde over het algemeen vlot.
Wij verbleven 6 nachten en ik vroeg haar waar nieuwe afvalzakken waren, die wel belangrijk zijn als je langer verblijft. Haar antwoord was 'There should be some at the apartment' en toen ik vraag waar: 'Somewhere ..???'. Ik vond haar niet vriendelijk.

The apartment had been partially updated. The kitchen and bath are still from the 70’s. Good little apartment to crash at for the price but if you are there in the summer it is noisy with the windows open. It is right above the main bus stop and the buses/late night folks were loud until very late. If you are staying there and planning to use the pull out sofa, it is VERY hard to squeeze by to get to bathroom, kitchen, or front door. Besides that it was comfortable and would be ideal in the winter. Very close to main part of town.

This is likely a wonderful place to stay in the winter. We struggled with no fans in a heat wave and very little airflow. Very loud with windows open, but good location.

This place is perfect if you come for skiing! The bus stops for both intercity (like to Geneva) and ski busses is literally next to the entrance to the apartment.
The place is small, but we were 3 people and it was fine! Has everything you may need, very well equipped kitchen.
Walking distance to all the restaurants and city center.

Loved our stay in Chamonix at this Airbnb! Was very conveniently located in front of the main bus station where are the ski buses pass by and everything was an easy walk away! Was a very beautiful apartment with a stunning view of the mountains !

The location is amazing. The view form the window of a glacier with the sun setting is unreal.
The checkin process was not smooth at all for us. The person who hands over the keys was busy with other clients so we were sitting for 15 mins in the car on the side of the road unsure of where to be. Then, when she came, my wife went with her to get into the unit and get the fob for the parking lot. They returned around 10 mins later and it turned out that they didn't have the keys. So,we had to drive and follow the woman to her office. My wife went with her to the office, got the keys (it turns out, these were the master keys), and then left us with those keys.
There was a miscommunication and at checkout, I left ALL the keys in the unit. The new keys and the master keys and then they had to hire a lock smith. They charged me 200 Euros for this mistake despite my explaining that any business leaving the master keys with a client is insane. (We left the master in a black lock box for 2 days at the door and she never came and picked them up as she said she was going to do.)

En revanche, au regard des équipements manquants, cassés, bouchés, sales, il est évident qu’aucune vérification n’a été faite avant notre arrivée ce qui est très décevant.
Lorsqu’on signale un problème, il y a plusieurs interlocuteurs mais aucune coordination entre eux.
Je ne recommande pas de louer un appartement géré par welkeys

Overall ok, great location, great price. However the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable. Also the shutter for the balcony was broken, so we couldn’t really use it that well. Overall good value for money.

broken blinds help up with a brush handle also oil on the balcony door that marked our clothes.., no boot locker snd requested 4 times so had to take skis and boots into the kitchen are so we couldn’t use facilities in there .
dirty and sink bathroom sink blocked.
no chance of towels over the 4 nights 5 days.
not suitable for 4 adults

Nous avons beaucoup apprécies la proximité du logement avec le centre ville, la vue sur les montagnes, le parking privé. Le logement est parfait pour 2 personnes. Nous avons été très bien accueilli.
